Microsoft Teams - How to Set a Status Message

14 STEPS

1. The first step is to open Microsoft Teams.

2. Click Profile

3. Click Set Status Message

4. Click the Text box

5. Type in the message you would like staff to see when messaging you.

6. Additionally, you can mention the staff who you might want to direct others for emergencies or other inquiries. Just type an @ and then the name of the staff

7. Click Today

8. Click the time frame you would like to have your status message active

9. If you choose Custom, you can select Dates and Times in which to stop your status message

10. Click the date you would like to end your status message

11. Click Time

12. Click the time you would like to end your status message

13. Click Done

Step 13 image

14. Now when staff message you they will see your Status Message within Chat.

That's it. You're done.
