ISSUE: The Pfx.Ribbon.ExcelAddin or Pfx.Ribbon.WordAddin add-ins to Excel and Word will not stay enabled, or if the Engagement tab is missing in either application.

SOLUTION: The steps below detail how to reinstall to resolve issues with these add-ins. 

*Notes*: 

• Be sure to first run the AppChecker applition from the following solution: Engagement Tab Not Showing In Excel | Knowledge Base | KSM IT (ksmcpa.com) If after running the issue still exists proceed to reinstall.
• If only one application is having the issue only uninstall and reinstall the corresponding add-in for that application 

• Open the Control Panel
  • Click on the windows button and type appwiz.cpl and press the Enter key your keyboard. 
    
• Click Programs and Features
• Scroll through the program list and locate the following:
  • Pfx.Ribbon.Exceladdin
  • Pfx.Ribbon.Wordaddin

• Uninstall the affected add-in
• Browse to C:\Pfx Engagement\WM 
• Find the .vsto that corresponds to the application add-in needed

• Double-click on the .vsto file listed to re-install
• Open Word or Excel and check the add-in
