How to use:

The TGUW can only be run on any binders that meet the following conditions:

1. The binder has a year-end of 12/31/2024
2. You have current editor rights
3. The binder is in your local file room (Citrix or laptop)

You will need to run the Tax Grouping Update Wizard for any binders that do not have the 2024 Tax Groupings applied. You will know if you do not have them if you meet the criteria above and do not see 2024 as an option for grouping when linking to CCH Axcess (ProSystem fx Tax)

 Follow the steps below to apply the 2024 Tax Groupings to your 2024 year-end Tax binders

• Roll forward the 2023 Tax binder to 2024
• Make sure you have the 2024 Tax TBs checked out that you want to update
• From the main File Room menu, select Tools > Tax Grouping Update Wizard > Next
• Select Vendor = ProSystem fx Tax
• Select Tax Year = 2024
• Select Next > Next > Finish

The TGUW will update all binders in your local file room that meet the criteria. This utility can be run as many times as you need to without affecting binders.
