ISSUE: Predecessor Firm uses ProSeries to prep returns. 

SOLUTION: This guide can be provided to predecessor Firm to give us the backups needed to convert to Axcess Tax. 

ProSeries Client Data Conversions 

• Create a new folder – ProSeries Backup
• Open ProSeries for the tax year to be converted
• Select HomeBase from the toolbar at the top of the page and highlight the returns to be converted.
  • Avoid using ‘Select All’ to highlight and choose all tax returns to be converted to avoid including any duplicates or test returns.
• Click File in the upper left corner and from the drop down, select Client File Maintenance.
• Select Copy / Backup to open the Copy / Backup window.
• Click Set Target Directory.
• Navigate to, and select, the ProSeries Backup folder.
• Zip the backup by right-clicking on the ProSeries Backup folder.
• Select Send To/Compressed (Zipped) folder and save the zip file to your Desktop.
