ISSUE: Predecessor Firm uses TaxWise to prep returns. 

SOLUTION: This guide can be provided to predecessor Firm to give us the backups needed to convert to Axcess Tax. 

TaxWise Client Data Conversions 

• Create a new folder on your workstation, named TaxWise Sourcefiles
• Navigate to the location of the files to be converted
  • Stand Alone (Local) Install: x:\UtsYY\Users\????
  • Network Install: x:\TaxWise\UtsYY\Users\????
    • x = any drive letter; YY = Tax Year of the Returns
    • ???? = TaxWise User Name
• Copy each User folder to the TaxWise Sourcefiles folder
• Zip the User Folder(s) by right-clicking on the TaxWise Sourcefiles folder.
• Select Send To/Compressed (Zipped) folder and save the zip file to your Desktop.
