CCH Axcess Tax - Delete Tax Return (senior associate and above)

Staff requests that a return gets deleted
RESOLUTION:
Senior Associate level and above have been given the right to delete returns in the CCH Axcess Tax system. There is a 90 day window from the time of deletion to restore the return if it was inadvertently removed.
PROCESS:
- Open Return Manager and locate the specific return to delete
- Highlight the single return
- Either press the delete key on the keyboard or select the delete option from the menu bar
- Accept the default options in the delete return dialog box
- Select OK to finalize the deletion of the specific tax return
- Select the Recycle Bin option to restore the tax return (within 90 days of original deletion)
- You do not need to notify the Help Desk if you remove a return on your own
