Google Chrome - Clear Page Cache and Hard Reset Page

ISSUE:

  • PE (Practice Engine) is not rendering correctly or is having graphical errors.
  • PE is not allowing you access to certain areas.
  • PE is giving error "The Job workflow status could not be updated. The job is not in progress."
  • DMS is not displaying the DMS or Portal Tools.
  • DMS is not displaying the most up-to-date tools or features.
  • Generally a good first step in dealing with PE/DMS(SharePoint) issues overall.


RESOLUTION:


Follow the steps below to clear the page cache and perform a hard reset

  1. On the Client page that has the issues press "F12". The Developer Tools Pane will appear.


  2. On the upper-left of the browser Right-Click the refresh button and select "Empty Cache and Hard Reload"


  3. If no drop-down menu appears, click refresh and try to right click again.


  4. You may now close the developer tools pane by pressing F12 or clicking the X on the pane..
