TeamMate - XLSM files not allowed

ISSUE:

Noble has started using TeamMate + which does not allow Excel files with an xlsm (macros) extension. Staff have tried several ways to convert the xlsm files to xlsx files but have been unsuccessful.

SOLUTION:

The solution was for the database administrator to add xlsm file extension to the list of allowable uploads.
This does have the caveat that the user can upload the Excel document with Macros, but you will not be able to open them from within the TeamMate application. (limited functionality of xlsm files)
