Sage BusinessWorks - Unable to use/Cannot execute
ISSUE: User is unable to use most functions or run reports in BusinessWorks, caused by exiting tasks incorrectly
SOLUTION: Follow the steps below to clear the license locks
- Close all BusinessWorks instances
- Click the Windows Start button and search for DBRegister
- In DBRegister select the BWSystem1400 database
- Click the Users button along the bottom of the window
- Click the Disconnect All Users button (even if there are no users listed)
- A warning message will appear that you are about to disconnect all users, click OK
- Click OK and then Close to exit DBRegister
- Open Sage BusinessWorks again and attempt the process that was giving the error message
