Task: S&P Capital IQ Pro Office Add-in Installation
PREREQUISITES:
Users need to have a login to the S&P website
SOLUTION:
- Have user log into the S&P website
- On the home page tabs go to More -> Links
- Download and install S&P Capital IQ Pro Office Add-in, at the start of the installation process make sure selection the below indicationed option:
- There might be the following Roadblocks:
- You might need to cycle through the admin passwords located in LastPass (start with the local admin accounts if they are not on VPN)
- there might be a SIM2K popup that you will need to submit to allow the executable to run.
POST-INSTALLATION TEST:
- Have the user navigate to a file that uses the plugin
- have the user sign in to the S&P website and perform an action on the spreadsheet
