Using the SNAPmobile Phone App

Purpose

Enable staff to make and receive calls and texts from their mobile device as if using their office phone.


Setup Instructions

  1. Download the App

    • Go to the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

    • Search for SNAPmobile and install it.

  2. Login to the App

    • Open the app.

    • Host/ID: fluentphone

    • Login Name: Your company email address.

    • Password: Your Phone Portal password.

      • If forgotten, reset it via:

  3. Initial Permissions

    • Notifications: Tap Allow to enable call/message alerts.

    • Contacts: Optional – grants access to your phone’s contacts.

    • Microphone: Tap OK to allow call functionality.


Using the App

  • Calling:

    • Go to the Contacts tab.

    • Select a saved contact or tap the orange dialer button in the lower-right corner to enter a number.

  • Texting:

    • Tap Chat and SMS (bottom menu).

    • Tap the Pen icon (lower-right) to:

      • Enter a number manually

      • Or select from your contacts (if access granted).

    • You’ll receive texts sent to your Shanholt direct dial number (e.g., 212-231-47XX, where XX = your extension).

  • Logging Out:

    • Tap the 3 lines (lower-right corner).

    • Tap Log out to stop calls from ringing on your mobile.


Troubleshooting Echo or Audio Issues

  • Make sure both the SNAPmobile app and your mobile OS are updated.

  • Open the app > Tap the 3 lines > Settings > Enable Echo Cancellation.
