OneNote Notebook - Restore from Backup ISSUE: How do I access my OneNote notebook after backing it up to OneDrive RESOLUTION: The recommended location for OneNote notebooks is to leave them in your KSM OneDrive account. If you ever have to change laptops, you can log back in to OneDrive and OneNote and your notebook will be available. There is no need to back it up if you leave it in OneDrive Open the OneNote application. Login with KSM network credentials, if prompted Select File > Open > Browse Navigate to the location where you stored your exported bookmarks file (possibly the MS-Backup folder in your KSM OneDrive account) Select the dropdown on File Type and select OneNote Files (second option with *.onepkg) Highlight your OneNote notebook backup, select Open At the Unpack Notebook screen, Confirm the name, Confirm it is located in your OneDrive account, Select Create Once the OneNote Notebook is fully unpacked, you will have access to everything you previously exported.
