SurePrep - How to Change Binder Assigned Staff
ISSUE: The owner of an existing binder is incorrect. It needs to be changed. RESOLUTION: Login to SurePrep Locate and Open the binder in question From the Menu Bar > Select Edit > Transfer Ownership / Update Status In the Transfer To: field, select the staff to transfer ownership to Select the checkbox to Send E-mail notification Select Transfer The result is that the previous and new owners will receive emails indicating that the ownership has been transferred. Also, any future correspondence from SurePrep will go to the new owner.

SurePrep - Print Binder from Inside DMS
ISSUE: Having issues printing binder from SurePrep Too many steps to print in SurePrep, find the file, import into DMS, etc. SOLUTION: Print binder while inside client site in DMS to have it automatically stored in the site Navigate to client site and specific year Select DMS Tools > Print > Print SurePrep Binders Highlight the specific information to generate Select Print SurePrep binder > Finish The process may take several minutes Once it is completed, 2 things will occur: The binder print jobs will appear in the DMS client site You will have a print job with all notes, comments, etc. - KSM Internal Copy_SPBinder Bookmarks PDF Year-ClntName-ClntNbr You will also have a clean copy with all source documents that could be sent back to the client - Client Copy_SPBinder Bookmarks PDF Year-ClntName-ClntNbr You will receive a Teams message, like the one below, indicating that the print jobs are complete KSM Automations via Workflows The SurePrep Binder Print request has completed for: Client Number: #####.000 Client Name: First Last Axcess Tax ID: 2023I:#####.000 Print Type: DreamWorkpaper Link to DMS Site: https://ksmcpa.sharepoint.com/sites/#####/TAXIND

SurePrep - How to contact chat support
ISSUE: Issue with binders, PDF printed from binders, etc... RESOLUTION: Use these steps to contact SurePrep support. They can see our binders from their side and help determine errors in binders, and with resulting PDFs. Login to SurePrep and click on Help Center in the top right corner. Click the Help button in the new window that opens. Click on Get in touch button. Click on Live chat. Choose Onshore Support and type the issue into the Message field. Click Start chat.
